We regret to inform you that we must cancel the upcoming Celebrity Waiter event. We sincerely apologize for having to make this difficult decision. This decision was not made lightly, but after careful consideration, we must cancel due to lack of financial feasibility and major sponsorship participation.

As established nonprofit organizations, we are always working to be fiscally responsible with all donations entrusted to us. Hosting an event that is not financially viable would not demonstrate responsible stewardship of community donations, and we cannot in good conscience proceed when expenses would consume the majority of revenue generated.

All sponsorships collected and tickets sold will be refunded within the next two weeks. Any remaining donations will be evenly split between both organizations to support our ongoing victim service programs.

This event was especially important to both organizations due to predicted grant funding cuts and lower than expected annual donations. While we are disappointed that circumstances prevented us from moving forward, we remain committed to finding alternative ways to engage our community and support our mission of serving victims.
